Hi, my name is Lee Armstrong, and I am your local candidate for District Attorney and I would like to take a moment to remind you all that today, is the last day to register to vote in the November 7th general election. If you have not registered yet please remember that many, many mothers have given the lives of their children in order that you may have that privilege. So, please, if you care about your country, your state and your county please take the time necessary to exercise your constitutional right to vote. The place to register is at the County Clerk's Office on the second floor of the old part of the courthouse above the big steps and pillars on Bridge Street. The only requirement is that you show you have been a county resident for 30 days prior to November 7th.

I do appreciate your vote for DA and if I am elected my promise to you all is that I will give everyone a fair shake.  

    I would also like to invite any registered voter of Humboldt County to a meet the candidate BBQ on Saturday, October 28th at 12:00 noon at the city park. I will be doing the cooking myself so you know it will be good and it will be free, which always makes things extra yummy! See you there.
